Business class award fares to Tel Aviv from New York started at 62,300 points one way in PointsGPT's recorded finds, and half of the 23 New York business finds were at or below 88,000. Economy is thin: we have only 8 economy finds, and half of them were at or below 43,250 points. These finds were from US departure cities, recorded September to November 2026, for one traveler, one way, as of 3 November 2026. They were available when someone searched and may not be by the time you do. Award availability changes frequently.
What the recorded finds show
A recorded find is the cheapest award fare a PointsGPT search returned in the cabin and on the dates the person asked for. The figures below are airline miles, one way, for one traveler, to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion (TLV). When your card points transfer at 1:1, the miles and the card points are the same number.

Which programs priced these fares
Of the 43 Tel Aviv finds, United MileagePlus was on the board for 33, followed by Flying Blue (31), Air Canada Aeroplan (29), Delta SkyMiles (23) and Qantas (15). Aeroplan priced the find itself most often (13 of 43), ahead of United (8), Flying Blue (7) and American Airlines AAdvantage (6).
These are the card points that reach each program, from the transfer grid PointsGPT uses:
- Aeroplan: Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Points, Capital One miles and Chase Ultimate Rewards at 1:1.
- United MileagePlus: Bilt and Chase at 1:1.
- Flying Blue: Amex, Bilt, Capital One, Chase and Citi ThankYou Points, all at 1:1.
- AAdvantage: Citi at 1:1.
- Delta SkyMiles: Amex at 1:1.
- Qantas: Amex, Capital One and Citi at 1:1.
- JetBlue TrueBlue: Chase and Citi at 1:1, Amex at 5:4 and Capital One at 5:3.
- Virgin Atlantic: Amex, Bilt, Chase and Citi at 1:1.
You can check each of the programs PointsGPT searches before you pick one. Partner lists and ratios change, so check your card's current partner list before you transfer. A transfer cannot be undone.
Watch the cash part on Tel Aviv fares
Every award fare carries taxes and fees paid in cash, and some programs add carrier surcharges.
- Business: all 5 Flying Blue finds carried three-figure cash charges, and all 3 Qantas finds four-figure ones. Of the 11 Aeroplan finds, 5 were two-figure, 5 three-figure and 1 unknown. United was two-figure on 3 of 5, single-figure on 1, and unknown on 1.
- Mixed program: AAdvantage business split 3 four-figure, 1 three-figure, 1 two-figure and 1 single-figure. Of the five 70,000 AAdvantage finds from Newark, three carried a four-figure cash part, one three-figure and one two-figure.
- Economy: both JetBlue finds were two-figure and the one Delta find single-figure. The Flying Blue find was three-figure.
See the surcharge trap for why programs charge so differently for the same flight.
Plan your search
- Flexible dates: search a whole month first, then narrow it once you see where fares appear.
- Two or more travelers: search for everyone at once. One award fare on a flight does not mean the same price is open for your whole party.
- Nonstop or one stop: only a few finds were nonstop, so decide how much a nonstop is worth to you before you compare.
- Another eastern Mediterranean trip: our guide to points needed for Athens covers the recorded fares there.
Points or cash?
Before you transfer, compare the award fare's full cost, the points plus the cash part, with the cash fare for the same flight. When the cash fare is already low, paying cash can keep your points for a trip where they cover more. Our guide to points versus cash covers the questions to ask.
How to search it in PointsGPT
When you start a search, type the trip the way you would say it, for example:
Business class from New York to Tel Aviv, any day in January, 2 travelers, I have Amex and Chase points
- Tell PointsGPT which card points you hold, so it can mark the fares those points reach.
- Compare the points and the cash part on each fare, nonstop and connecting.
- Confirm the fare with the airline program before you transfer, because the transfer cannot be reversed.
