Los Cabos — 15,000 points

This fare has the lowest points price of the four, along with one of the shortest flight times.

Cancun — 25,000 points

Same airline program, departing 27 November. Nonstop, just under five hours, seven fares showing.

Nassau — 27,500 points

Through AAdvantage from Citi, departing 13 November. This one carries almost no surcharge at all — single figures.

This fare comes through a different airline program from the other three, a useful reminder to compare every program your points can reach.

Maui — 35,000 points

Through Alaska Atmos from Bilt, departing 26 November. Nonstop, just under six hours, nine fares showing, and a small surcharge.

This is both the longest flight and the highest points price in this four-fare comparison.

Choose based on the full trip, not points alone

The points prices range from 15,000 to 35,000. Flight length helps explain the pattern in this small group, but the airline program, date, cash alternative, and destination also matter.

Los Cabos requires the fewest points here. Your best choice still depends on where you want to travel and how each award fare compares with its cash price.
